This year marks the debut of an exciting new festival, celebrating the best in Irish music & culture, in the heart of one of Europe's most historic cities. Irlanda in Festa is a three night extravaganza, bringing together some of the best music from Ireland and Italy live on-stage in Bologna's Estragon Concert Venue. Alongside Estragon, in the Parco Nord Palasport, there will be traditional music, dancing, food and drink, with a Guinness pub seating up to 1,500 punters.

Estragon

3 nights of the best in live music, on the stage of Bologna's Estragon.

Friday 16th plays host to legendary Cork band Interference, singer-songwriter Joe Chester, followed by the evening's headline act Mau Mau.

Saturday 17th brings Belfast's Bap Kennedy to Bolgona,followed by one of Ireland's most exciting new bands The Flaws, and to celebrate St. Patrick's night in style, The Modena City Ramblers headline.

Palanord

Over the three nights of the festival the Palanord will host various traditional music acts, along with displays of Irish dancing, a giant second-hand record market, a photographic exhibition and a host of stands dedicated to Irish culture and produce.

From 19.00-23.00 a restaurant specially set up for the festival will serve a range of typical Irish food, including .... Given that the festival takes place in Bologna, Italy's gastronomical capital, a selection of Bolognese dishes will also be available through the night.
